Founded in 1413, the University of St Andrews is Scotland’s oldest university and is consistently ranked within the top five in the United Kingdom.
The Management (MNG) Society at the University of St Andrews offers students and its members an appreciation of how the academic and analytical tools learnt at St Andrews can be applied in a variety of career paths and industries following our time at university. Through speaker events, wine & cheese meet-and-greets, networking dinners, and workshops with graduate recruiters, it is our goal to provide students with an insight into applied management.
Bringing the top management leaders and graduate recruiters from various industries to St Andrews, we hope to inspire and motivate students to find and pursue their career in an industry they really love.
The focus of these events range from management consulting, finance, and marketing to more creative markets such as fashion, entertainment, entrepreneurial, IT, and luxury goods.
For us, it is essential to bring together the leaders of today with the leaders of tomorrow and we hope that in 2011/2012, we can bring you the most influential and most inspiring of these leaders. |

'I am extremely pleased to be able
to call myself President of such a
wonderful committee in my final
year in St Andrews. The MNG
Society has shaped my university
life majorly, with its people, its speakers and events. Longlasting relationships have been established and excellent opportunities have opened up. With all my respect to the previous committees, I can still promise that with such a talented group of people we will achieve great things. This will be a fabulous year!'

'The MNG Society talks its success
through the grandeur of its events,
personality of its committee and
diversity of its members! And that
gives me immense pride to be
involved with it for the upcoming year in anticipation of another year of high quality events that we are now accustomed to. And we hope to celebrate that success and experience with you, our members.'

'My vision for the MNG Society is
to be the vital bridge between
aspiring students and the industry
world. We intend on bringing
students and industry professionals to a common platform where they can interact casually! This would help improve the students' understanding of the industry world and help professionals demand what they need from their future employees! I look forward to being a part of this exciting experience and putting my efforts in achieving this purpose.'

'I am excited to contribute to the
diversity of events and arrange for
engaging speakers to add to the
growing credibility and integrity of
the Management Society. Not only
to entertain those students studying management and economics, but also to attract students from other schools of thought to attend our events.'

'After attending so many great
events put on by the MNG
Society over the past three years,
I'm thrilled to take on a committee
role this year. Although I can't say
I'm set on what kind of career I'd like to pursue after university, MNG Society has certainly widened my horizons by giving me the chance to hear great speakers from such contrasting companies representing so many industries and this has certainly helped in giving me an idea of what sort of range of opportunities are really out there.'
